Tips | Labelling ingredients – 1. Labelling ingredients:-
Labelling the ingredients in the kitchen shelf is very important, so that everyone at your house can take the ingredient easily when ever needed.
Cut the ingredient name from the package as soon as you empty the ingredients into a bottle. Paste the name as a label in the bottle using a cello tape.
Like wise if the ingredients were prepared by you write its name in a paper and paste it.

Tips | Labelling ingredients – 2. Making tasty rasam:-
Secondly this is a very simple and useful tips to make your rasam tasty. When ever you grind a chutney using coconut or any variety of dal or fresh coriander leaves or curry leaves then rinse the jar and save the rinsed water. This water can be used while making rasam. This method can be followed even while you blend tomatoes to make purée and you can also use water which you rinse rice for cooking.

Thirdly while you cut cucumber for preparing raita or a salad remove the seeded portion of the cucumber. These seeds may make your raita or salad more watery. So remove the seeds and you can use that seed portion for some other purposes or to eat them raw.
