Stuffed Vegetable paratha recipe | Vegetarian food a paratha prepared by stuffing all vegetables with spices to enhance its taste and flavour. This is a perfect tiffin box recipe which will be best suitable for carrying during travel.

Ingrediends:-

  • wheat flour – 2 cups
  • maida – 1/4 cup
  • salt – to taste
  • oil – 1 tsp
  • water – as required

Ingredients for stuffing:-

  • potato – 1
  • peas – 1/2 cup
  • carrot – 1
  • cabbage – 1/2 cup
  • onion – 1
  • ginger garlic paste/ inji poondu paste – 1 tsp

Masala powders:-

  • red chilly powder/ milagai podi – 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder/ manjal podi – 1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder/ malli podi – 1/4 tsp
  • cumin powder/ seeragapodi – 1/4 tsp
  • garam masala powder – 1/4 tsp
  • salt – to taste

Method:-

1. Take wheat atta, maida, salt and oil in a bowl, add needed water and knead well. Prepare a soft dough and keep aside.

2. Cook potato and peas in steam or by adding water. Mash well and keep aside.

3. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, followed by ginger garlic paste and all vegetables. Sauté for a few minutes. Add masala powders and mix. Then add mashed potatoes and peas. Mix well and switch of the flame.

4. Make round balls out of this vegetable masala.

5. Take ball size dough and make a thick chapattis using chapatti pin.

6. Keep veg masala ball in the centre and bring dough together.

7. Close it on top. Put some dry powder above and below and roll again without breaking.

8. Heat chapathi pan and fry both the sides using a tsp of oil. Serve hot with any side dish if needed.
