Palak gobi curry recipe | Palak cauliflower Masala is a side dish prepared for parathas with palak, gobi, curd, onion and spices.Tasty and healthy side dish

Palak gobi curry recipe – Ingredients:-
  • gobi – 1 medium size (florets 4 cups)
  • palak – 1 bundle (finely chopped)
  • veg oil – 2 tsp
  • bay leaf – 1
  • green cardomom – 2
  • cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • onion – 2 (chopped)
  • garlic – 4
  • red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • salt – to taste
  • curd – 1 cup

Palak gobi curry recipe – Method of preparation:-

1. Firstly boil 2 cups of water in a pan and put chopped Palak in it and cook for 2-3 minutes.

2. After that drain water and again with a flow of cold water.

3. Grind this palak in a mixie to a fine paste and keep aside.

4. Secondly boil water in a container and put the gobi florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes

5. Drain water and keep it ready.

6.  Heat 2 tea spoons of oil in a fry pan and fry gobi in low flame.

7. Oil sparkles and so you can close it with a lid and keep in low flame for 2 – 4 minutes. After gobi gets half cooked and brown dots appear on the florets as shown in the photo below, remove it from pan and keep ready.

 

Palak gobi curry recipe – Method of preparation:-

8. Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf, green cardamom, cumin seeds.

9. When it splutters add chopped onion and garlic.

10. Fry for few minutes. When onion colour changes to brown add ground mixture of palak paste.

11. Now add fried gobi to it and sauté.

12. Add salt, chilly powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.

13. Mix well and add little water, close and cook for 2 minutes till raw smell leaves pan.

14. Now whisk curd and add little water. Pour curd little by little keeping the stove in low flame.

 

15. Finally mix well and keep in low flame for five minutes. Switch off stove and transfer to a serving bowl and serve as side dish with any paratha.
