Lemon shake recipe | Nimbu Ras | Elumichai juice helps in digestion and it is common drink in this hot summer. Diabetic patients can use salt instead of sugar, and it’s taste will be different. Prepare this lemon shake and enjoy the sour taste and health benefits of lemon during summer.

To Serve – 2 persons

Preparation Time – 5 minutes

Ingredients:-

  • Lemon – 1 fruit
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Ice cubes – few (optional)
  • Salt – 1 tsp

(or)

  • Sugar – 2 tblsp

Method:-

1. Cut lemon into two halves and squeeze the juice in 2 glasses. You can use a lemon squeezer or squeeze even with your fingers.

2. Add salt and then add 3/4 cup of water.  Rest 1/4 cup will be filled with ice cubes for chillness. Mix well using a spoon.

3. Add ice cubes if necessary and serve chilled (or) skip off adding ice cubes if you do not need it. Here you can add full of water instead of 3/4 cup.

4. In the other type we have added sugar instead of salt. Mix well with a spoon. Garnish with a slice of lemon for attraction and flavour and serve chilled with ice cubes.
