Instant rice | flattened rice | Aval sadham can be prepared within five minutes when you do not have enough time to cook rice. So this can be recommended for bachelors and beginners too.
When you do not have enough time to cook rice, you can use flattened rice and make food immediately. It’s taste will be more or less the same as that of a cooked rice and can use any sambar, rasam or curd as side dish and consumed with vegetables. Try this easy recipe and give your comments.
- Flattened rice/ Aval/ Poha – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
1. Add water to flattened rice in a container and heat for one minute.
2. It becomes thick at once within one or two minutes. Switch off the stove and use along with any side dishes. Can use sambar, rasam and curd as we use for cooked rice.
3. You can serve this rice along with other side dishes.
