1. Pour milk in a container and add water as required. If you use milk of elders, you can add more water so that it will digest easily. If you were using milk to ferment and prepare thick curd you can use less amount of water.
2. Switch on the stove and keep it in medium flame. Stir continuously using a spoon.
3. When milk boils, the cream rises to the top and if the milk continues to boil, it will spill over. You can switch off the stove when milk rises to the top.
